In 2009, her completely original piece, "The Flowers That Grew There" was performed at Roy Arias Studios in NYC. She has also worked in theater education in Athens, Georgia and held a full-time education position with Broadway company, Roundabout Theatre. Anna also writes novels for young adults and her work is currently represented by Irene Goodman of the Irene Goodman Literary Agency.

She has lived abroad twice (working on time number three), in Grenoble, France studying French and Budapest, Hungary teaching ESL. Currently, Anna is a student at the University of Amsterdam, pursuing a second MA in Holocaust and Genocide Studies and will begin a PhD track in the same field in the fall of 2012. Anna continues to freelance write and teach in her spare time.
